What is the M2T file?
The M2T file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the MPEG-2 Transport Stream Format format. M2T files are supported by Android, Linux, Windows operating systems. The M2T file is one of the Video Files files, just like 546 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the M2T file is e.g. Adobe Media Encoder. This software was released by Adobe Systems Incorporated. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. VLC media player, MPEG Streamclip, Free Studio, Nero Multimedia Suite.

How to open a .M2T file?
If you have problems opening the file M2T, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the M2T file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your M2T file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all M2T files should automatically open with the selected program.
