What is the AAF file?
The AAF file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Advanced Authoring Format Multimedia Format format. AAF files are supported by Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The AAF file is one of the Video Files files, just like 546 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of Advanced Authoring Format Multimedia Format is Avid Technology.
A program that can open the AAF file is e.g. Avid Pro Tools. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. Avid Media Composer, Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro, Pro Tools.

How to open a .AAF file?
If you have problems opening the file AAF, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the AAF file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your AAF file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all AAF files should automatically open with the selected program.
