What is the BIMX file?
The BIMX file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the ArchiCAD BIMx 3D Scene format. BIMX files are supported by Android, iOS, Windows operating systems. The BIMX file is one of the 3D Image Files files, just like 622 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of ArchiCAD BIMx 3D Scene is Graphisoft.
A program that can open the BIMX file is e.g. ArchiCAD. This software was released by Graphisoft. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. BIMx Desktop Viewer, BIMx for iPhone, BIMx for Android.

How to open a .BIMX file?
If you have problems opening the file BIMX, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the BIMX file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your BIMX file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all BIMX files should automatically open with the selected program.
