What is the E57 file?
The E57 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the LIDAR Point Cloud Data Format format. E57 files are supported by Windows operating systems. The E57 file is one of the 3D Image Files files, just like 622 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of LIDAR Point Cloud Data Format is ASTM E57 Committee on 3D Imaging Systems.
A program that can open the E57 file is e.g. LD3 Studio. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. Real Works, Pointools Suite, Faro Scene.

How to open a .E57 file?
If you have problems opening the file E57, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the E57 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your E57 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all E57 files should automatically open with the selected program.
