What is the FB2 file?
The FB2 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the FictionBook 2.0 Format format. FB2 files are supported by Android, Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The FB2 file is one of the Text Files files, just like 440 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of FictionBook 2.0 Format is FictionBook.
A program that can open the FB2 file is e.g. Calibre. This software was released by Kovid Goyal. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. Cool Reader, Apache OpenOffice, FBReader, Athenaeum.

How to open a .FB2 file?
If you have problems opening the file FB2, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the FB2 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your FB2 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all FB2 files should automatically open with the selected program.
