What is the GID file?
The GID file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Windows Help Global Index Format format. GID files are supported by Windows operating systems. The GID file is one of the Settings Files files, just like 1305 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of Windows Help Global Index Format is Microsoft.
A program that can open the GID file is e.g. Microsoft Windows Help. This software was released by Microsoft Corporation. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. Microsoft Windows.
