What is the HEIC file?
The HEIC file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the High Efficiency Image Format format. HEIC files are supported by iOS, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The HEIC file is one of the Raster Image Files files, just like 522 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of High Efficiency Image Format is Moving Picture Experts Group.
A program that can open the HEIC file is e.g. Zoner Photo Studio. This software was released by ZONER, Inc.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. XnView MP, HEIC Converter, iMazing HEIC Converter, CopyTrans HEIC.

How to open a .HEIC file?
If you have problems opening the file HEIC, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the HEIC file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your HEIC file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all HEIC files should automatically open with the selected program.
