What is the M2 file?
The M2 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the World Or Warcraft Model Object format. M2 files are supported by Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The M2 file is one of the Game Files files, just like 1509 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of World Or Warcraft Model Object is Blizzard Entertainment.
A program that can open the M2 file is e.g. World of Warcraft. This software was released by Blizzard Entertainment, Inc.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. WoW Model Viewer.

How to open a .M2 file?
If you have problems opening the file M2, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the M2 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your M2 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all M2 files should automatically open with the selected program.
