What is the OBJ file?
The OBJ file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Wavefront 3D Object Format format. OBJ files are supported by Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The OBJ file is one of the 3D Image Files files, just like 622 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of Wavefront 3D Object Format is Wavefront Technologies.
A program that can open the OBJ file is e.g. LightWave 3D. This software was released by NewTek, Inc.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. Adobe Photoshop, TurboCAD, Micro Poser, DAZ Studio.

How to open a .OBJ file?
If you have problems opening the file OBJ, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the OBJ file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your OBJ file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all OBJ files should automatically open with the selected program.
