What is the RM file?
The RM file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Real Media Format format. RM files are supported by Android, iOS, Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The RM file is one of the Video Files files, just like 546 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of Real Media Format is RealNetworks.
A program that can open the RM file is e.g. RealPlayer. This software was released by RealNetworks, Inc.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. VLC media player, GOM Player, jetAudio, AVS Video Converter.

How to open a .RM file?
If you have problems opening the file RM, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the RM file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your RM file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all RM files should automatically open with the selected program.
