What is the STEP file?
The STEP file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the STEP 3D Model format. STEP files are supported by Android, iOS, Linux, Mac OS, Web, Windows, Windows Phone operating systems. The STEP file is one of the 3D Image Files files, just like 622 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the STEP file is e.g. TurboCAD. This software was released by IMSI/Design, LLC.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. SolidWorks, Fusion 360, STEP File Browser.

How to open a .STEP file?
If you have problems opening the file STEP, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the STEP file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your STEP file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all STEP files should automatically open with the selected program.
