What is the YML2 file?
The YML2 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the YML Script format. YML2 files are supported by Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The YML2 file is one of the Developer Files files, just like 1205 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the YML2 file is e.g. gedit. This software was released by The GNOME Project. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. yml2c, NotePad++ text editor.

How to open a .YML2 file?
If you have problems opening the file YML2, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the YML2 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your YML2 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all YML2 files should automatically open with the selected program.
