What is the 16 file?
The 16 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the ISOLINUX Splash Screen Graphic (LSS16) format. 16 files are supported by Linux, Windows operating systems. The 16 file is one of the Graphic Files files, just like 524 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the 16 file is e.g. XnView. This software was released by Pierre-Emmanuel Gougelet. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. ISOLINUX.

How to open a .16 file?
If you have problems opening the file 16, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the 16 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your 16 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all 16 files should automatically open with the selected program.
