What is the 3DM file?
The 3DM file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Rhino 3D Model format. 3DM files are supported by Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The 3DM file is one of the 3D Image Files files, just like 622 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of Rhino 3D Model is Robert McNeel & Associates.
A program that can open the 3DM file is e.g. Rhino OSX. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. TurboCAD, Fusion 360, Rhino, Flatland Rover.

How to open a .3DM file?
If you have problems opening the file 3DM, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the 3DM file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your 3DM file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all 3DM files should automatically open with the selected program.
