What is the AD2 file?
The AD2 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the ADPCM 2-bit Compressed Voice Format format. AD2 files are supported by Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The AD2 file is one of the Audio Files files, just like 771 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the AD2 file is e.g. Microsoft Windows NotePad. This software was released by Microsoft Corporation. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. TextEdit, Sublime Text, gedit, NotePad++ text editor.

How to open a .AD2 file?
If you have problems opening the file AD2, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the AD2 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your AD2 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all AD2 files should automatically open with the selected program.
