What is the M2P file?
The M2P file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the MPEG-2 Program Stream Format format. M2P files are supported by Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The M2P file is one of the Video Files files, just like 546 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of MPEG-2 Program Stream Format is Moving Picture Experts Group.
A program that can open the M2P file is e.g. QuickTime Player. This software was released by Apple, Inc.. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. VLC media player, Media Player Classic, Windows Media Player, Adobe Premiere Pro.

How to open a .M2P file?
If you have problems opening the file M2P, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the M2P file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your M2P file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all M2P files should automatically open with the selected program.
