What is the M2R file?
The M2R file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the Avaya Mib2Rules Perl Script format. M2R files are supported by Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The M2R file is one of the Developer Files files, just like 1205 of the other files found in our file information database.
A program that can open the M2R file is e.g. Windows Notepad. This software was released by Microsoft Corporation. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. TextEdit, gedit, NotePad++ text editor.

How to open a .M2R file?
If you have problems opening the file M2R, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the M2R file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your M2R file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all M2R files should automatically open with the selected program.
