What is the JBIG2 file?
The JBIG2 file extension can be associated with several types of files. Most often, however, a file with such an extension is associated with the JBIG2 format. JBIG2 files are supported by Linux, Mac OS, Windows operating systems. The JBIG2 file is one of the Raster Image Files files, just like 522 of the other files found in our file information database. The creator of JBIG2 is Joint Bi-level Image Group.
A program that can open the JBIG2 file is e.g. Converter Pro. However, you can also use other applications, e.g. XnView, Orpalis PaperScan.

How to open a .JBIG2 file?
If you have problems opening the file JBIG2, then in most cases the problem is only the lack of the proper application installed. Select one of the programs from the list and install it on your device. The operating system should automatically associate the JBIG2 file format with the installed program. If not, right click on your JBIG2 file and select from the menu "Open with" . Then select the installed program and confirm the operation. Now all JBIG2 files should automatically open with the selected program.
